Now We Can Post High-Res Photos on Twitter

As Position Mobile has learned from The Verge, Twitter is now letting users to view and tweet 4K images, on iOs and Android.

Although the web app of Twitter supports high resolution, the image resolution on mobile apps it’s noticeably lower. The 4K upload option has been tested earlier this year, and seems that the tech company is now ready to officially launch the new feature.

According to Twitter Support, ”The option to upload and view 4K images on Android and iOS is now available for everyone. To start uploading and viewing images in 4K, update your high-quality image preferences in “Data usage” settings.”

How To Enable it:

Users can enable the new feature by tapping on Data Usage, and then enable High Quality Images and High Quality Image Uploads, all found on the Settings menu of Twitter app. You can also choose if you want this new high-res feature to be activated for both cellular and Wi-Fi, just Wi-Fi, or completely deactivated.
